2.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use our Service and apply for admission, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
  • Have completed or be in the process of completing secondary education
  • Possess valid JAMB registration and scores (where applicable)
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Application Process and Requirements

3.1 Application Submission

By submitting an application through our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful
  • Falsification of information may result in immediate disqualification
  • You authorize us to verify all submitted information
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee admission
  • Application fees are non-refundable once processed

You must provide all required supporting documents including:

  • Valid government-issued identification
  • Academic transcripts and certificates
  • JAMB result slip and registration printout
  • Passport photographs meeting specified requirements
  • Any additional documents as specified for your chosen program

4. Fees and Payment Terms

4.1 Application Fees

Application fees are required for processing your admission application. These fees are:

  • Non-refundable once payment is confirmed
  • Subject to change without prior notice
  • Payable only through authorized payment channels
  • Must be paid in full before application review begins

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. WDU is not responsible for payment processing delays or failures beyond our control. You are responsible for ensuring payment is completed successfully.

5. Admission Decisions and Enrollment

5.1 Admission Process

Admission decisions are made at the sole discretion of Western Delta University based on:

  • Academic qualifications and performance
  • JAMB scores and subject combinations
  • Program-specific requirements and capacity
  • Compliance with university admission policies
  • Availability of slots in chosen programs

5.2 Admission Offers

Admission offers are conditional and may be withdrawn if any of the provided information is found to be false or if conditions specified in the offer letter are not met within the stipulated timeframe.

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

When using our Service, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with the Service

  • Upload malicious software or harmful content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Western Delta University and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission from WDU.

11. Fraud Prevention and Security

Important Fraud Alert

Be aware of fraudulent activities by individuals falsely claiming affiliation with Western Delta University. Official communications come only from verified @wdu.edu.ng email addresses.

Never pay through unofficial channels or respond to unsolicited requests for personal information.

WDU implements various security measures to prevent fraud and protect user information. Users are required to report any suspicious activities immediately to our official contact channels.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, but these Terms will remain in effect as to prior use of the Service.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delta State, Nigeria.
